About Leon Lions Football

Leon High School was established in 1871, is Florida's oldest continually accredited high school, Leon and has fielded a football team since 1915, with Leon's first recorded game was played in 1916. The football program at Leon is one of the oldest and most highly revered aspects of Leon's historic tradition. The legacy continues under the leadership of Head Coach Tyrone McGriff.
